Upwards of 50 children who battle for their lives on a daily basis, join volunteers and many guests from around the country in experiencing the thrills of skiing. Utilizing specifically-trained volunteers from Ability Plus, and more than 100 physicians, paramedics, nurses, physical therapists, and counselors, these kids forget the tubes, pumps and needles that go along with their personal daily challenges— and learn how to ski. This experience shows the kids what their true abilities are, and forget about their dis-abilities.
